Home Learning Support
The next few weeks will feel strange for us all, but let’s make this as an opportunity to spend quality time with our families doing the things we don’t always get the time to do!
At St Helen’s, the staff and I are so incredibly proud of everything the children have achieved so far and they should be equally proud of themselves!
Let’s make the current situation a golden opportunity for the children to show how they have developed as learners this year.
We have provided further advice and support to help families get the best out of the home learning opportunities being provided. We are using Hamilton Trust, an educational organisation to support Literacy and Numeracy Planning and Resources. These resources have been developed specifically for parents supporting their children at home. We have also added further links to educational websites too!
You are also able to e-mail your child’s class teacher directly for any further advice and support and they will do their best to get back to you within the school day where possible:

The DfE have brought together an initial list of online educational resources to help children to learn at home.
These websites have been identified by some of the country’s leading educational experts and offer a wide range of support and resources for pupils of all ages.
