At St. Helen’s Catholic Primary School, we have adopted a curriculum model that has been designed to be a broad and balanced, knowledge rich primary curriculum. We deliver our curriculum through a range of subject-specific projects, which last either a full or half term. Our subject-specific projects cover Art and Design, Design and Technology, Geography, History and, Science.

Maths is delivered through progressive projects from the White Rose Maths scheme, and English is supported by a range of English units linked to topics covered in History and Geography. In the EYFS and KS1 the Read Write Inc. Program supports teaching and learning of early reading and writing skills. Currently, we use specialist schemes for Computing, PE, RSHE, Music and RE.
