New Life
At St Helen's, we are reminded that the season of Spring is a time of warming weather and nature coming back to life. As flowers bloom and animals are born, we are reminded of the innocence and beauty that exists in our world and we give thanks for the new life all around us. As Christians, we are given new life and new mercies every morning. Spring provides a wonderful reminder to us that God helps us to try and live a full life, leaving the old dead parts behind us.
There is always hope during the coldest, darkest winters of life. When Spring comes, new life comes forth for us!
Scripture describes the awesome vibrancy of this season in multiple passages and this helps us reflect and be thankful. We also give thanks for new life by looking at a range of diverse artists who inspire us to create our own pieces of work celebrating all God creates for us to enjoy.
